Bigger Than Art
Two filmmakers traveled museums and studios across half the world chasing the same question: what makes a work of art true. Bigger Than Art gathers the voices of some of the most influential artists of our time, together with the perspective of an actor who has built his career chasing the same thing in front of the camera, into a choral portrait of creativity as an act of honesty.

Who we are
The Studio
Ministry of Films is a production company dedicated to auteur documentary: films made with no shortcuts and no formulas, to tell something true.
We make few films. Each one is a distillation: we stay with a question until only what is true remains. Bigger Than Art was filmed across eleven countries.
They met in the United States. Years later, an art competition in Barcelona crossed their paths again, and that’s how Ministry of Films was born.
